
The House of Peoples is our most casual, passive House. This House is primarily for those members looking for a casual experience. The few roles that are supported within this House are more or less honorary titles that recognize a members familiarity with certain zones and their ability to provide information or even direct assistance if available.
Events promoted by the House of Peoples will be those that span the widest variety of objectives from normal quests to chicken runs to festival dances.
The House of Peoples is by far our biggest house with members of all ages and game ambitions.

House of Peoples Membership
Membership in the House of Peoples is available to all members with no pre-requisites other than being a full member and an extreme desire to maximize your time online with no drama, no obstacles and the opportunity to obtain assistance if you need it.
Order Roles / Titles
Patron / Matron of Peoples - The leader of the House of Peoples helps organize groups, schedule events and promotes a positive experience however and wherever.
- All Patrons assume a central leadership role and sit on the High Council.
- The Patron of Peoples is considered a casual leadership role that may be somewhat active during events or group activities. .
- This Patron must be a player who can communicate effectively, demonstrates a high degree of patience, maturity and excels at having fun. Typically the best Patron of Peoples is someone not completely owned by levels or maximizing their loot and willing and able to stop and smell the pies or run his own chicken breast and dumplings to Bree.
- All Patrons are given editorial privileges on thecouncilkin.com website to oversee their section and all content related to house activities.
Vice-Patron of Peoples - The secondary leader of the House of Peoples. All above conditions and features apply.
Peoples Herald - This member serves as the primary recruitment officer of the House of Peoples.
- The Peoples Herald is considered a somewhat active leadership role and serves as an officer within the kinship. The House of Peoples is the most populous Council House and as such this Herald post is a critical leadership position. This member must be responsive to the needs of the kinship and able to communicate effectively.
- A Herald should be familiar with our charter, organization and ideology and be capable of conveying these items to prospective members.
- A Herald introduces the kinship to potential recruits, provides invitations and relays important information for a new recruit to begin their journey with The Council.
- The Herald will need to be very familiar with LOTRO and have a character that can quickly travel to all major locations.
Regional and City Consuls - These are members who have demonstrated a high degree of familiarity with a region or city. Appointments to a Consular post is made by the Patron or Vice-Patron of Peoples. Examples of Consuls include Consul of Bree, Consul of Bree-Land, Consul of Angmar, Consul of Garth Forthnir etc.
- A Consular post is considered a fairly casual role. Members who seek appointment as a Consul recognize that they will be designated on our website and in-game as such and may from to time be asked questions by members in those areas.
- A Consul should be of a level that represents the region they represent. In Breeland anywhere from level 10-20 and in Angmar from 40-50 etc.
- In some cases especially knowledgeable members may be given broader regional titles such as the Western Consul etc.
